, ) today announced that John J. O'Connor has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Prior to his retirement in 2006, O'Connor was vice chairman of services for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and served as partner at the firm for 24 years. Mr. O'Connor will serve as a Class III director, standing for election at the next annual meeting of the company's shareholders, and will also serve as Chair of the company's Audit Committee.

ROVO - The Utah County Board of Health should know on Monday whether cities want to enact outdoor-smoking bans on their own or let the county do it.
That's when the board is expected to discuss a proposal to ban smoking in parks and other outdoor public places. The board will meet at 4 p.m. in Room 2500 of the Utah County Health and Justice Building, 151 S. University Ave.
Jen Tischler, a Health Department education specialist, said she is still gathering information from cities on how they want to handle such a ban: a city ordinance or by countywide regulation
